We are looking for an
Operations Manager to join our team in
Brampton,
ON.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and ensuring all branch business operations are successful in the areas of Customer Service/Inside Sales, Rigging, Warehouse operations, Webbing and Inspections.

This manager also ensures the health and safety of all branch employees and customers.

Principle Responsibilities

Oversees activities directly related to production and services; schedule jobs and lead projects to ensure their successful completion
Plans, directs and coordinates employees, preparing work schedules and assigning specific tasks
Works with employees to support the branch goals and control expenses to stay within operational budget
Provides continuous leadership, coaching, goal setting, and planning
Demonstrates a commitment to quality and safety by maintaining a clean, safe and organized department

Required knowledge and training

A university/college degree preferably in Business Management or a related discipline, or a combination of a high school diploma and relevant work experience
Previous management experience is required
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. from floor level to waist level
Legally entitled to work in Canada
