***: The Marketing Associate will assist in the development, management and execution of advertising, communications, and key Bank partnerships. The HomeEquity Bank marketing team is an award-winning team, passionate about serving and empowering the aging population in Canada. This role includes an opportunity for a motivated individual to learn and develop in the areas of Brand Management and DRTV creative development, media planning and execution. It also includes radio, print and digital platforms to increase awareness and help grow originations for the Bank.

Reporting to the Manager, Brand and Advertising, the Marketing Associatewill work with various departments, channels and agencies and will provide administrative support and campaign analytics.


MAJOR ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE:

Marketing Strategy & Program Management

  • Works with Manager, Brand and Advertising to conceptualize, develop, and implement advertising and marketing campaigns through existing channels and by identifying new ones
  • Helps manage existing partnerships and assists in the development of new strategies to support growth, including management of marketing campaigns, and other educational programs, that help build awareness to its members
  • Ensures that the tone and Brand integrity of the Bank is reflected in all communications
  • Assesses and analyzes advertising campaigns and coordinates efforts across online and offline channels to optimize investments
  • Supports in the development of creative ideas and creative writing (ads, scripts, stories, etc.)
  • Participates in managing relationships with advertising agencies and various marketing partners in order to achieve desired metrics and results
  • Collaborates and partners with Marketing team members, Call Center and Consumer Sales Management, to ensure the customer experience is optimized in campaign execution and fulfillment
  • Management of rebate, referafriend, and complaintshandling processes and programs, including the identification of opportunities for improvement, and deliver an optimal customer experience
  • Coordinates and manages consumer collateral inventory, including reordering, stock maintenance and literature revisions
Reporting, Analysis & Budget Support

  • Ensures frequent monitoring, tracking and reporting of all marketing campaigns through analysis of large data sets. Leverage analysis to identify opportunities to optimize or coursecorrect programs
  • Tracks key business metrics and contribute to forecasting and reporting on consumer marketing initiatives and results
  • Works with the Manager, Brand and Advertising to oversee the management of Advertising budgets, including forecasting to align projects with annual budget and spend
  • Assists with processing of invoices and vendor follow up as required

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


  • Bachelor's degree, MBA or a graduate degree an asset but not required
  • Ability to write/edit/proofread copy is a definite advantage
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret large sets of data and draw insights, strong financial acumen
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and presentation to internal and external contacts, up to senior management levels
  • Selfdriven character including innate curiosity, desire to learn, achievement orientation, and strong desire to continuously improve the status quo
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders internally and externally
  • Passionate about serving and empowering the aging population and focused on ensuring a customer centric approach
