What does your day at GIP Interpaving look like?

  • Ensuring that all projects are planned and executed within scope & schedule.
  • Report progress, resource requirements, and escalate issues to the Project Manager
  • Perform project using appropriate human and capital resources, tools, and techniques.
  • Ensures adherence to all required safety plans (site specific plans, traffic plans, OHSA, etc.)
  • Ensure safety of crew members and follow all required safety documentation.
  • Accountability for the preparation of reports required by the Project Manager (i

Daily Work Records, Timesheets, Production Reports, etc.)

  • Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of GIP Interpaving Limited Health & Safety Policy Program.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Enough about us, let's talk about you.

  • Civil Engineering background considered an asset.
  • Knowledge and Experience in Road Construction
  • Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System and best practices within areas of responsibility.
  • Must be physically capable of operating a vehicle safely, possess a valid driver's license, and have an acceptable driving record.
  • Supervisory and leadership skills
  • Technical construction, surveying, and analytical skills
  • Time management and strategic planning
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking
  • Understanding of construction plans and specifications
  • Attention to detail and can communicate information to the team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
