- Evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems and products applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.
- Consult and negotiate with plant engineers to prepare specifications, explain proposals and present engineering reports and findings
- Work alongside engineers from all disciplines in capital investment projects
- Contribute to the development of mechanical engineering deliverables
- Support IKO's core values and leadership behaviours
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
- 10+ years of experience working in a similar role
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point
- Ability to develop schematics in Autocad is a plus
- P.Eng. in Ontario is required
