Procurement Assistant Coordinator, Mississauga, Ontario
ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, an international manufacturer of automated doors, is seeking an install Coordinator in the Mississauga, Ontario district branch office.

This position will report to the senior project Manager and be involved in office administration/procurement work as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Creating new purchase orders to vendors/suppliers.
- Logistic support, follow up and maintain relationship with vendors.
- Ensure ordered materials received (quality and quantity check), and update received items on system.
- Maintain material transfer, project cost analysis, receipt PO's from subtrade and others. (update in system).
- Process vendors invoices, and update on system.
- Assist with project coordination
- Update customer with delivery date
- Develop and maintain relationship with Endusers in the Health Care and Retail segments as well as General Contractors, Subcontractors, and Suppliers.
- Act as a liaison between the Sales and Production teams.
- Update work order for Fabrication.
- Update projects follow up with customer communications.
- Provide PO for subtrades & scheduling.
- Participate in takeoff meetings and customer interfacing (when needed).
- Develop and maintain relationship with Endusers in the Health Care and Retail segments as well as General Contractors, Subcontractors, and Suppliers.
- Other procurement/administration tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Five+ years' experience in a procurement or related environment.
- Project coordination experience in construction or related field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle pressure situations.
- Must work well within a team environment and be a team player.
- Ability to interact well with different employees and personalities.
- Possess the flexibility to work a varying schedule (different hours of the day and weekends if necessary).
- Customer service oriented.
- Ability to effectively multitask
- Efficient in Baan, Word, Excel, OneNote and Outlook.
