Responsibilities

The Psychologist provides assessment intervention teaching research and consultative services within an interdisciplinary approach to clinical care works collaboratively with Inter-professional team delivers programming with other members of the Multi-Organ Transplant Program to patients living with Advanced Liver disease

Qualifications

Doctoral degree from a recognized accredited program in either Clinical Psychology with a strong rehabilitation or clinical health psychology background including a one-year accredited clinical pre-doctoral internship required Registered or eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology NSBEP required A minimum of 2 years training and experience working in rehabilitation an organ transplant program preferred Familiarity wiht behavioral or rehabilitation programming highly desirable Familiarity wiht surgical candidacy assessment,thorughout this document
