We are looking for a
Logistics Manager to join our growing team in
Milton, ON.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Daily coordination of thirdparty (3PL) carriers throughout North America (NA) to execute delivery of GaaS (Gas as a Service).
  • Coordination with the local 4Refuel Operations teams that are executing GaaS delivery.
  • Will have 'dotted line' oversight of the Drivers in Mississauga (GTA), Calgary, and Montreal who are performing the GaaS activities. Future State would be local management reporting to this position or GaaS.
  • Support 4Refuel USA Brokerage line of business (LOB) by sourcing and vetting carriers and managing delivery execution.
  • Ensure appropriate Insurance and carrier agreements are in place.
  • Participate in Weekly pipeline meetings to ensure operational readiness for upcoming opportunities throughout NA.
  • When applicable travel to GaaS current and potential sites throughout NA to work with local vendors, government entities etc., to ensure operational readiness
  • Collaborate with internal departments and local entities to build out a CNG startup/HUB in Texas
  • Support Operational Excellence initiatives throughout NA for 4Refuel and ComTech
  • Coordinate and Lead 3PL driver training and safety in conjunction with EH&S follow our standard operating plan (SOP), understand the risks of highpressure gas, regulations around the transport of bulk gaseous fuels, and emergency procedures including ERAP and TDG.
  • Ensuring business is conducted in a safe manner 100% of the time.
  • Operate with integrity through maintaining social, ethical, and organizational integrity in conducting business activities; maintains confidentiality, and adhere to corporate policies and procedures
  • Responsible for maintaining an effective work environment that successfully contributes to the achievement of the business goals and objectives for ComTech and the work unit
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Transportation and Logistics
  • Proven experience providing superb customer service preferably in the transportation, distribution, and/or courier industry
  • Routing experience and managing a driving workforce is considered an asset
  • Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Understanding of fleet operations and customer delivery.
  • Must have a safety and compliance mindset.
  • Understanding of Supply Chain and Procurement
