About the Role

Workday is looking for an experienced product manager who will discover and define customer problems and encourage solutions that generate measurable value and meet the needs of our holistic business.

As a Product Manager on the Workday Learning team, you will deliver products that champion our vision:
"Empowering the future of work through growth & opportunity". Our team supports several product areas related to Learning; and our Product Managers drive product design in close collaboration with our customers.

What we're looking for:

A highly motivated quick learner who enjoys solving creatively tough problems independently in a fast paced agile environment.
An outstanding operator who can lead tactical execution and coordination on complex initiatives across functions in an organized fashion while avoiding unnecessary overhead. Can lead projects effectively with high standards of accountability.
A naturally hardworking and experienced doer who can synthesize complex inputs and tradeoffs into a compelling plan and direction with agreement from team members, contributors, and stakeholders.
A strong communicator, both verbal and written, who can easily and intuitively adapt content and form to various types of audiences. Be comfortable influencing others and collaborating with stakeholders.
A skilled and curious researcher who puts users at the center of ideation, design and execution and who has the ability to conduct indepth market analysis and competitive landscape research, as well as primary user research.

About You

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 3+ years Product Management experience- 3+ years experience with solutioning, designing, and delivering software products.- 2 + years of experience working with Learning Management systems.- Alternatively, 2 years of experience authoring and publishing standardized training (e.g. AICC, SCORM) Alternatively, 2+ years of experience in public cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Streaming Media Technologies)

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS- Track record in managing product lifecycle:

defining business problems, researching customer needs, prototyping and testing new solutions, working with design and engineering teams, and prioritizing an Agile development backlog.- High ownership, curiosity, and drive to meet customers' needs- Experience in IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, B2B, or high scale technical products.

- Excellent analytical abilities, including exploration, measurement, and monitoring- A collaborative approach, seeking common ground to meet organizational goals- Willingness to work within a geographically dispersed organization
