We are on the hunt for a smart, enthusiastic, uber-creative marketer who gets excited at the idea of strategizing, developing, and analyzing marketing strategies for the digital & print world on behalf of Our Family of 13 Hotels.


d3h manages 13 hotels in Saskatchewan and Alberta under the brands of Days Inn and Home Hotels (our own in-house created brand).

You may not realize it, but you have probably stayed in a d3h property over our last 25 years in operation.

We are tasked with growing the customer base of all d3h managed properties, and as a result we have developed a loyal and connected base of guests who love returning to the place where they feel cared for and always welcome.

About You
Your background might be from a variety of different disciplines.

You are hyper-focused on the UX and enjoy creating and executing digital experiences; you enjoy analyzing the data to understand what is engaging and when to change; demonstrate a positive can-do attitude, work well in teams, and enjoy solving complex problems.

You demonstrate first class, engaging communication skills, excellent writing skills, and the ability to multi-task a variety of goals and deadlines in a constantly changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Willingness to learn our internal marketing processes and provide other options which fit well into our marketing plan.

Must be highly organized_, detail oriented, and follow-up in appropriate timelines.

  • Excellent copywriting ability to translate into social media, blogs, and website; ensure correct brand, design, and content across all online platforms including websites, third party booking sites, social media, and print ads.
  • Understands and is relentless about the importance of brand standards, design elements, and engaging content.
  • Taking ownership of key ongoing or onetime tasks as they relate to company success.
  • Building great relationships with onsite hotel managers, various departments, our guests, and suppliers to create a consistent brand voice for our company.
  • Continual reviewing of campaign performance to ensure successful objectives.
  • Wiling to create video content. Minimal travel may be required to our properties.
  • Collaborating and communicating with Managers and Head Office staff to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor and respond to donation requests.
  • Be a team player and can also work well independently.
  • Build trust with your team and d3h guest through strong communication and strong recommendations.

Areas of Experience

  • A willingness to learn and have a high selfexpectation of delivering quality projects on time.
  • A person who likes to doublecheck their work.
  • Experience with brand kits.
  • Clear communication and recommendations are paramount.
  • 2+ years of marketing experience is a plus but not necessary.
  • Excellent typing skills with mínimal errors.
  • Intermediate experience with Canva, Campaigns, Meta, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
  • Must be a friendly and outgoing person with genuine care for others.
  • Knowledge of sourcing, ordering, and communications with suppliers.
  • Prior knowledge of the hospitality industry and/or understanding the UX of hotels from start to finish would be a huge asset.
  • Is up to date on current social media trends, mentions, blogs, and can translate these into unique content.
