Purpose:
Reporting directly to the Human Resources Superintendent, the role will directly support the Travel and Accommodation program at Musselwhite Mine while providing administrative support to the Human Resources Team.
Responsibilities:
- Arrange all site and business travel for employees, contractors and visitors.
- Allocate bunkhouse room accommodations for all employees, contractors and visitors using the Nomadis travel and accommodation system
- Communicate all travel delays and cancelations.
- Collaborate with Aviation Partner on flight schedules, delays or cancelations.
- Provide administrative support to site Human Resources Department as required.
- Participate in event planning and company functions
- Maintaining employee and departmental files both digital and hard copy
- Preparing purchase order requisitions
Requirements:
- Postsecondary education certificate, diploma or degree in any of the following programs Travel and Tourism, Business Administration or Human Resources Management
- 13 years' experience in providing Administrative Support Services
- Advanced computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience working in SAP would be considered an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Highly detailoriented, and able to manage multiple competing priorities on a daily basis
- Experience drafting and proofreading notes, memos, letters, and written materials
- Experience making arrangements for meetings, seminars, workshops and training
- Ability to demonstrate discretion, tact and sound judgment; especially when reviewing sensitive or confidential information
Working Conditions:
The rotation schedule for this position is 7 days on and 7 days off, working 10 hours per day working directly at the Musselwhite Mine site.
