Purpose:


Reporting directly to the Human Resources Superintendent, the role will directly support the Travel and Accommodation program at Musselwhite Mine while providing administrative support to the Human Resources Team.

Collaborating directly with all teams on site to ensure effective and efficient travel coordination for all groups on site. The individual will work closely with the Mines Safety, Security, and Housekeeping teams.


Responsibilities:


  • Arrange all site and business travel for employees, contractors and visitors.
  • Allocate bunkhouse room accommodations for all employees, contractors and visitors using the Nomadis travel and accommodation system
  • Communicate all travel delays and cancelations.
  • Collaborate with Aviation Partner on flight schedules, delays or cancelations.
  • Provide administrative support to site Human Resources Department as required.
  • Participate in event planning and company functions
  • Maintaining employee and departmental files both digital and hard copy
  • Preparing purchase order requisitions

Requirements:


  • Postsecondary education certificate, diploma or degree in any of the following programs Travel and Tourism, Business Administration or Human Resources Management
  • 13 years' experience in providing Administrative Support Services
  • Advanced computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience working in SAP would be considered an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Highly detailoriented, and able to manage multiple competing priorities on a daily basis
  • Experience drafting and proofreading notes, memos, letters, and written materials
  • Experience making arrangements for meetings, seminars, workshops and training
  • Ability to demonstrate discretion, tact and sound judgment; especially when reviewing sensitive or confidential information

Working Conditions:


The rotation schedule for this position is 7 days on and 7 days off, working 10 hours per day working directly at the Musselwhite Mine site.
