As a mutual fund dealer, PH&N Investment Services brings a unique offering to investors through the fund offerings of RBC GAM, PH&N and BlueBay.
As the Business Analyst, PH&N, you have demonstrated analytical abilities and you are looking to increase your experience working in the asset management or mutual fund dealer channels.
In this entry level role you will have the opportunity to learn about the business, including sales reporting & data analytics, with the primary focus of providing administrative support to the PH&N Investment Services leadership team.
What will you do?
- Create, summarize and distribute key business metric information to management
- Use of data analysis software to assist the leadership team develop and implement business initiatives
- Coordinate specific tasks and responsibilities with the Finance, Technology, Client Services and Compliance departments
- Participate in operational and strategy discussions with the management team
- Support the preparation of various documents pertaining to projects and meetings
- Investigate reporting discrepancies to achieve more accurate reporting
- Manage various tasks pertaining to planning and organizing of unit holder events
- Assist with organizing, planning and managing data for team sales initiatives; coordinate and manage timing of data production relevant to such projects
- Assist with the analysis of data in the interest of formulating or modifying strategies
- Data cleanup and verification
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
- Postsecondary diploma/degree, ideally in Commerce, Business Administration or related experience is required
- Technical proficiency, comfortable with learning new software and working with large amounts of data
Nice to Have
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in the investment industry with experience as an executive assistant
- Must have an understanding of and interest in the Mutual Funds/advice business
- Completion of the Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC) or Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is an asset
