The Set-up Technician is responsible for setting up all tools and components in an efficient manner in the Machining Department, as well as providing support to the Manufacturing Department as required.
This individual will comply with provincial and federal legislation, employee handbook guidelines, health and safety policies and ISO quality program and procedures.
Job Details:
- Fulltime, Monday to Friday, Saturday's when required.

Qualification:
- Enrolled in OYAP and/or completion of secondary school
- Experience working in a Manufacturing environment
- Solid understanding of the FCS clamping system
- Capable of problemsolving
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to adapt and welcome change in a positive manner
- Capable of operating heavy equipment such as a forklift and crane
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time as well as bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms and/or legs
- Must be able to lift up to approx. 20 lbs
