XTL Transport Inc. is looking for a Carrier Logistic Planner at our Toronto Terminal to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is self-motivated, has strong analytical and computer skills, strong attention to detail and is enthusiastic to work in a customer-centric environment.

Responsibilities:

Carrier Relations

Grow & develop our carrier base with partners that meet or exceed our criteria & compliance standards.
Develop an in depth understanding of partner carrier networks in order maximize their effectiveness.
Monitor, measure and provide feedback on carrier performance (in conjunction with other team members)
Negotiate transactional and dedicated rates with partner carriers while ensuring corporate margin targets are achieved.
Ensure carrier capacity exceeds customer demands.
Progress high performing carrier partners from transactional to core status.

Corporate Responsibilities

Assist with market rate information in order to complete rate proposals
Liaison with other team members to ensure order completion
Perform all of the above responsibilities in alignment with our corporate strategic objectives
Perform all of the above responsibilities in alignment with our corporate values of LEAD WITH GRACE

Measurement Responsibilities

Ensure data integrity is high when building, managing and completing orders
Verify carrier data is accurate before completing orders

Support and replace other team members as needed
