Description
We are searching for an Accounting technician / bookkeeper with several years of experience, to join a growing local firm that provides outsourced office services to local businesses.
- Minimum 23 years experience in accounting, with a private or public firm.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online and cloud based integrations.
- Experience with CaseWare and Tax Cycle would be favorable.
- Some background in payroll will be beneficial, including understanding of payroll requirements in BC.
- Must be familiar with full cycle accounting procedures including reconciling, AP/AR, processing payroll, GST, PST, WCB and producing monthly or quarterly reports.
- You should have knowledge of T1 and T2 preparation, ability to prepare compilation engagements would be valuable.
- You have excellent problemsolving skills and are able to contribute to process improvement internally as well as for clients.
