Purpose of Role
You will be a key member of a dynamic and innovative group of lawyers, clerks and legal support staff, providing the highest level of service to our clients, while having the opportunity to cultivate your skills as part of our successful national Commercial Real Estate team, within Canada's premier full-service law firm.

- The key responsibilities of this role are:
- Act as primary contact for the intake and set up of all new clients and matters for the Commercial Real Estate group
- Support the commercial management of matters to ensure compliance to client terms, matter budgets and billing requirements
- Monitor and report on key deadlines collaborating with the legal team and clients
- Help to design and implement new best practices, templates, and workflow to optimize practice management
- Perform billable law clerk work including conducting, reviewing and reporting on search results (familiarity with title and offtitle searches would be an asset); drafting documents for registration; and assisting with the management and closing of commercial transactions
- What you will bring to this role:
- Minimum post-secondary education of a Law Clerk or Paralegal Diploma or equivalent
- Superior organizational, data management and problem solving skills
- Ability to process a high volume of documentation with excellent attention to detail
- Strong computer and electronic document skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work with key stakeholders at all levels of the Firm
