JOB DESCRIPTION:
Pharmacy assistant needed to support pharmacy staff by assisting with the technical components of dispensing within the pharmacy


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fill prescriptions accurately, efficiently, and safely
• Accurate data entry of patient and prescription information
• Process and prepare blister packs
• Assist with inventory management
• Assist with cashier responsibilities, as required
• Respond to customer inquiries: in store and over the phone
• Engage with customers in a warm and positive manner
• Communicate effectively with other health care professionals
• Ensure work area is kept clean and wellorganized
• Actively seek out new and innovative ways to improve processes
• Work together with pharmacist in a collaborative, team environment centered on customer care

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in retail pharmacy
• Knowledge of pharmacy dispensary software (preferred but not required)
• Strong attention to detail
• Professional, selfmotivated individual with a team player attitude
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both pharmacy team and customers
• Strong organizational and problemsolving skills
• Ability to work under mínimal supervision
• Flexible work hours

Salary:

$15.50-$16.50 per hour

- pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)
