B2B Tech PR Specialist (Remote)
Our B2B tech marketing agency is looking for a PR Specialist. This role requires 10 years of experience in PR for B2B engineering/technology industries.

You are the primary day-to-day contact for several technology clients, providing strategic counsel and tactical implementation of all aspects of public relations with the support of our expert network.

Experience in embedded software (e.g., IoT, RTOS, software development, middleware tools), electronic components (e.g., MCU, MPU, SoC, boards), robotics & automation, IT, or related fields is required.

Responsibilities include:


  • Care of multiple clients in the B2B tech sector
  • Help clients gain recognition by promoting their brand and technology with relevant press and analysts
  • Build and nurture client relationships, ensuring they feel cared for and have confidence that you understand their needs. You are their first call when they need a trusted opinion
  • Help develop strategies and create annual strategic integrated marketing plans to complement client objectives, finetuning each quarter as needed
  • Execute the plan on time and on budget, ensuring it is revised as needed while coordinating with other HCI team resources when required
  • Develop messaging strategy with clients to identify key messages, product/service differentiators, competitors, target markets, etc. and articulate how the client's solution addresses customer pain points and moves the industry forward
  • Maximize the use of research tools and dashboards to analyze and present results, demonstrate return on investment (ROI) and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Share industry point of views (POVs), trends and relevant opportunities with clients
  • Assist the Client Services Director in evaluating ways to improve HCI's client PR services, such as assessing industry and proprietary tools, identifying new service areas, developing processes
  • Assist Business Development in the creation of HCI collateral

  • Plan development and execution: You develop and lead the execution of PR strategies as part of clients' integrated marketing plans
  • Strategic: You work closely with your clients' internal teams, know their business goals, and have a strategy and timeline for meeting goals with targeted, measurable initiatives
  • Buyerfocused: You help companies identify the characteristics of their buyers and where they stand in the competitive landscape. You develop messaging that strategically and effectively targets audiences and moves them through the buying journey
  • Industryaware: You recognize and share industry POV as well as shifts and opportunities in the competitive landscape
  • Writing: You have solid writing skills, experience developing and guiding a variety of content, and can get your arms around the technical details to create a more engaging read
