Job description
Technolgy team manages the Client Onboarding system for GBM (Global Banking & Markets) business, the application is used by the Global Client Onboarding team to track KYC and jurisdictional regulatory monitoring workflows.
We are looking for a Data Modeler who is self-starting, results-oriented, highly motivated individual with great attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
A candidate for this role will need to multi-task, lead workstreams and be comfortable to work in a fast paced and agile environment with tight project delivery timelines.
Project:
The Data Modeler will be a part of a Saas migration project on the current Client Onboarding System.
Role:
Work with business users and technology to obtain data requirements and analyze source systems data.
Design and develop conceptual, logical and physical data models for the operational and analytical data models.
Work closely with the technical and application architects, and developers to implement the data architecture and application solution.
Document data flows, identify appropriate data sources, entities, relationships and redundancies.
Manage data integrity and data quality.
Maintain technical & business metadata,for SaaS or Internal ingestion frameworks.
Design data structures and document data meanings, definitions and intended use.
Support data migration ,data strategies, standards, guidelines data quality process ,data validation and governance across the enterprise/and for this project.
Candidate Requirements:
Relational and dimensional data modeling and database design,Data modeling skills, including Data Mapping Analysis,Transformation Analysis.
Strong SQL, Schema Conversion/Translation and some Python knowledge.
Knowledge of data architectural approaches, patterns and emerging technologies (RDBMS,KeyValue).
Exposure or knowledge of Cloud platforms, cloud architecture, capabilities and processes like GCP/AWS.
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Strong Analytical skills.
Experience creating architecture and strategy artifacts.
Also can generate data dictionaries for the target state.
Experience of XML, JSON, CSV files Ingestion formats.
Experience working in Agile environment.
Knowledge of Data Governance process for metadata and lineage management is strong asset. Exposure to any Data Governance and Data lineage tools.
Domain Knowledge in financial Services and enterprise functions is strong asset.
Knowledge of database administration, database performance tuning, source & target data structures, ETL processes/products.
Bachelor's Degree, in computer engineering or information science.
Nice to have Fenergo Imlementation experience.
