Superior Child is an educational organization dedicated to nurturing children and teenagers aged 3–16 through high-quality, well-rounded learning experiences. We believe every child has unique strengths and untapped potential. Our teaching philosophy is rooted in individual potential development and multiple intelligences, helping students grow confidently in both skills and mindset.

Our campuses feature six specialized learning centers, including Music, Dance, Art, STEM, Sports, and Language. Students benefit from a comprehensive learning environment where they can explore multiple disciplines under one roof.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured and engaging ballet classes for students ranging from beginner to advanced levels
  • Teach proper ballet techniques, posture, flexibility, strength, and coordination
  • Design age-appropriate lesson plans based on students' abilities and developmental stages
  • Prepare students for examinations (e.g., RAD or other recognized syllabi), performances, and recitals
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and disciplined dance environment
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain professional and open communication with parents regarding student development
  • Participate in school performances, showcases, competitions, and special events

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Dance, Dance Education, Performing Arts, or related field (or equivalent professional training)
  • Formal ballet training from a recognized institution (RAD, Vaganova, Cecchetti, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience teaching ballet to children and teenagers
  • Strong technical foundation in classical ballet
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Patient, energetic, and passionate about dance education
  • Understanding of child development and injury prevention

Preferred Assets

  • Certification from recognized ballet organizations (e.g., RAD Registered Teacher Status or equivalent)
  • Experience preparing students for graded ballet examinations and competitions
  • Ability to choreograph for recitals and performances
  • Experience teaching pointe, pre-pointe, or variations (where appropriate)
  • Creative, inspiring, and adaptable teaching approach
  • Strong sense of professionalism and punctuality
  • Warm, encouraging, and child-friendly teaching style

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$40.22 per hour

Expected hours: 2 per week

Work Location: In person
