Position Overview


The Plumbing Sales Supervisor is responsible for generating sales revenue, responsible for sourcing new clients, providing exceptional customer service, and meeting revenue quotas.

Additionally, this position works closely with other departments in a collaborative effort to achieve company goals of customer acquisition, revenue increases, and profitability.

Excel at delivering WOW through Service.


Primary Responsibilities with Service Technicians:


  • Show up on time every day, ready to work with a positive attitude
  • Maintain and foster relationships with current customers ensuring the customer's needs are being met
  • Perform job inspections for drainage systems by running sewer cameras and advise solution to customer
  • Make sure permits are pulled on all jobs and inspections are scheduled
  • Efficiently and effectively manage daily communication flow with customers and Technicians team members
  • Prepare Option Sheets and or/reports, emphasize product features and benefits, prices, discuss credit terms
  • Communicates effectively with Dispatch team in reviewing and making necessary adjustments to routes to determine most efficient and profitable routes
  • Help solve problems and complaints that affect service, efficiency, and productivity of the plumbers
  • Visit jobs that technicians are dispatched to for second opinions
  • Meet with technicians at jobs to provide sales assistance
  • Promote and train technicians on high customer service standards
  • Present all King's products and services with special emphasis on customer service
  • Present quotes based on King's formula and/or pricing guide
  • Maintain customer contact after the sale to insure happy and satisfied customers
  • If necessary, collect payment from customers if the service technician or billing department is unable to do so, on the jobs you have sold
  • Accurately complete all paperwork in a timely manner
  • Promote professionalism
  • Call technicians as they are driving to calls to make sure they perform at peak levels
  • Hold the team accountable to minimum standards
  • Conduct and sets training meetings for field departments to help improve sales for technicians, role playing tech generated leads, etc.
  • Canvassing and marketing of areas with technicians on down time
  • Assist with technical work problem solving and conduct field visits to ensure quality control and service excellence
  • Follow all applicable safe work practices and ensure the team has correct PPEs and follows safety and health policies and procedures
  • Assisting with interview process of new Technicians when required
  • Perform other duties as required

Other Responsibilities:


  • Assist Plumbing manager ensuring the service vans are clean and organized
  • Support and assist plumbing manager to resolve client complaints by visiting job sites and addressing concerns effectively

Requirements:


  • Undergraduate education or equivalent related work experience
  • Two years experience in sales environment
  • Strong Computer skills word, excel, internet. Experience with Field Service software programs an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, Sales driven person, great interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and work remotely on the road
  • Must be able to respond and answer phone calls as needed throughout the week including evenings and weekends when necessary
  • Able to review all after hours calls and provide weekly reports
  • Professional attitude and exceptional people skills to work as a team player and provide professional customer service, and the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail
  • Demonstrated organizational and planning skills and ability to maintain focus and work in a fastpaced, environment

Minimum Performance Standards:


  • Have no more than 4 customer complaints per month. Any received complaints must be immediately dealt and followed up by a detailed note of incident
  • Pay period is calculated from Monday through Sunday, and only on projects collected in full
  • Field sale supervisor must insure every one of their team members hit their weekly minimum standards. Also ensure their monthly minimum standards are met.
  • Required to keep track of all jobs dispatched to their teams.
  • Responsible for having sales meetings a minimum of 1 time per wee
