Description

Qualifications Include:

  • Certification Building Environmental Systems
  • Class 2 (BES 2) or Certification in one of the following areas: Millwright, Machinist, Stationary Engineer 4th Class required.
  • Minimum 5 years of recent related experience in a maintenance environment; a minimum of 2 years must be within a hospital.
  • Capable of testing, verification and calibration of all Building Systems and HVAC equipment.
  • Proof of flexibility and adaptability in maintenance of hospital machinery.
  • Intermediate knowledge of computerized building system software and recent experience operating such as a system required.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills in Pneumatic, Electronic, Electric, and Building Automation Systems.
  • Demonstrated initiative and good judgment.
  • Ability to communicate both written and verbal and to follow detailed written and oral directions.
  • Satisfactory attendance record.
