Our specialized workforce provides support to customers in class 1 and the short-line railway industry. Our motive power team provides several services for locomotives and on-track equipment. We are currently looking for a Parts Specialist to join our team
A Parts Specialist Specializes in receiving goods and managing inventory.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform data entry within the inventory management system.
Track inventory levels manually and with the help of the inventory management system.
Being able to communicate parts information clearly with team members.
Answering basic parts inquiries from the shop floor.
Verify all orders received.
Working closely with the program coordinator and purchaser to ensure that materials are acquired in a timely manner for ongoing projects.
Aid mechanics and other team members.
Act professionally and be responsive to requests and inquiries.

Qualifications & Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Class G driver's license.
Knowledge of inventory management.
General railway knowledge is an asset.
Excellent attention to detail is necessary.
Strong professional communication skills.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
Must be able to provide a clean driver abstract, criminal background check, and a drug & alcohol test.
