Within the Engineering Function, you could be placed in one of the following Cenovus business units in Lloydminster, including:

• Asset Integrity: Assist safe and reliable operation of critical infrastructure and equipment.
• Maintenance and Reliability: Support maintenance and reliability programs sustainment and implementation
• Project: Assisting in project planning, design, and execution, conducting research, analyzing data, and collaborating with the project team

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary depending on business unit placement; duties might include:

• Support infrastructure reliability and maintenance programs.
• Collaborate on project planning, design, research, and data analysis.
• Contribute to risk assessments, integrity management, and process improvements.
• Prepare engineering reports and presentations and assist team objectives.

Qualifications

• Legally entitled to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa)
• This role requires driving, and will require you to have a valid class 5 drivers license and provide acceptable drivers abstract.
• Available to begin work in September 2024.

Education

• Must be enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term
• Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered
• New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.

Working Conditions

• May include frequency of travel, sitting, standing, computer work, lifting, driving, working at site, etc.

Safety Sensitive

• This role is a safety-sensitive role, and you will also be required to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during required work hours. Furthermore, you will also be required to pass the pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol assessment requirements.
