Orthodontic Assistant - Saskatoon, Canada - Stephenson Orthodontics

Description

Duties:

• Assist the orthodontist in providing ortho care to patients
• Prepare treatment and clinical area and instruments for orthodontic procedures
• Take patient records
• Disinfecting and sterilization
• Assist with patient education on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records and documentation
• Making sure supplies are stocked
• Other general assisting duties as required

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
• Certification as an Orthodontic Assistant preferred
• Experience working in a dental or orthodontic setting is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
