    Job Description:

    Role Responsibilities:
    • We leverage digital intelligence and deep human knowledge to develop products and solutions comprehensively.

    • Collaborate closely with clients to tackle global challenges such as climate change, rapid urbanization, and increasing digitalization.
    • Build and manage client relationships, conduct business development activities, prepare proposals, allocate staff resources, and establish project budgets and schedules.
    • Effectively communicate with clients and internal team members to design and specify electrical, lighting, and communications systems projects within a multidisciplinary team.
    • Lead and contribute to the design, coordination, and management of electrical, lighting, and communications systems projects.
    • Create power distribution, lighting, and auxiliary systems designs using AutoCAD and/or Microstation.
    • Prepare technical reports, tender documentation, and provide field support including commissioning and site inspection.
    • Ensure engineering deliverables comply with regulations, standards, and sound engineering practices.
    • Review drawings for accuracy and quality of technical information in line with QA/QC programs.
    • Deliver project outcomes in a timely manner with high quality standards.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in lighting and electrical systems design (preferably in a consulting environment).
    • Must hold a P. Eng. designation in Ontario (in good standing).
    • Demonstrated experience in electrical design of municipal roadway lighting and communications systems.
    • Proficient in engineering software including AutoCAD, Microstation, Autolux, and AGI32 lighting design software.
    • Experience in electrical site inspections, construction supervision, and contract administration.
    • Worked in multidisciplinary teams on complex projects with large scale and scope.
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Experience with O.Reg 22/04 certification and interactions with utility authorities.
    • Knowledge of pole loading software such as SPIDAcalc or equivalent is advantageous.
    • Experience with MTO Minor and Major Electrical projects. Possession of R.A.Q.S and/or Q.V.E. certification is a bonus.
