Life Cycle Material Manager, Aftermarket Services - Montréal, Canada - CAE Inc.

Role and Responsibilities
The LCMM supports CAE's aftermarket services, sales, costing and proposals of Obsolescence Management services (OMS) in general and LCMM services.
Coordination of OMS
- Coordination of all obsolescence management activities for Aftermarket Services Organization.
- Maintenance of all data, other than BOM and OMS data, on the project watchlist
- Reviewing Form-FitFunction (FFF) and nonFFF solutions for applicability
- Coordination with engineering functions
- Generation of project Obsolescence Reports
- Determination of long term support strategies
- Performing spares modeling accounting for inservice time and downtime
- Generation of Technology Insertion recommendations
- Leading obsolescence review board discussions
- Provision of monthly and quarterly statistics and report inputs.
- Provides analysis, reporting and recommendations as needed to support Aftermarket Services operations procurement and stocking decisions
Business Development of OMS
- Provide OMS and LCMM written definitions for customer proposals
- Provide LCMM costing and review technical OMS and ILS costing)
Requirements:
- Associate or College degree
- 58 years of related experience
- Customerclient focus
- Process oriented
- Good communicator with reporting tools
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to manage priorities
- Team player
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Able to work in fastpaced and dynamic environment
- Knowledge of Excel, knowledge of Access and other databases
- Knowledge of analysis and reporting tools
- Good with computations, statistics
