Description

Foothills School Division is currently seeking Educational Assistants to provide physical, social, emotional, behavioral and learning support to students/children identified with mild, moderate and/or severe needs in a variety of settings within the school environment.

Part time hours follow the school calendar schedule to be determine.

Approximate weekly hours will be 16.25 per week.

The Education Assistant will establish effective working relationships with teachers, parents and the community.

A strong background and expertise working with students with a wide range of physical, cognitive, social and emotional differences including:

Autism Spectrum Disorder
Trauma
Down Syndrome

- medically fragile
- mild/moderate intellectually delayed

ADHD

- self-care personal assistance
