Description
Full Time Highly Experienced Security Concierge for a condominium corporation located in North York. The shifts are
Friday, Saturday & Sunday from noon to midnight.

Requirements:


  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License in good standing
  • First Aid and level C CPR certifications a definite asset
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a security role within a Condominium Environment
  • Proficient with computer literacy
  • Strong written and verbal skills communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to maintain and nurture relationships
  • The ability to follow all policies, procedures and protocols
  • Quick response time
  • Strong telephone etiquette
  • Flexible and adaptable to ever changing environments

Responsibilities:


  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Continuously work towards providing a safe working environment
  • Maintain a safe and clean working space
  • Oversee people entering and leaving the building (Sign in/out)
  • Always enforce property safety rules and procedures
  • Continuous monitoring of building internally and externally
  • Reporting of any incidents
  • Overseeing bookings for party rooms
  • Answering customer inquires
  • All other duties as assigned

Duties:


  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises
  • Operate and monitor CCTV systems to detect and prevent security breaches
  • Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
  • Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activities
  • Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of securityrelated incidents
  • Provide assistance and guidance to visitors, employees, and contractors as needed
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or hazards
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in emergency situations

Responsibilities:


  • Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Protect property and assets by maintaining a visible presence
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems
  • Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
  • Enforce company policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure security equipment is functioning properly
  • Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors as needed
  • Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or a related field preferred
  • Knowledge of surveillance techniques and procedures
  • Familiarity with loss prevention techniques
  • Ability to operate CCTV systems and other security equipment
  • Strong observation skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for long periods of time

Expected hours: 36 per week
