Description

Distinct Educational Learning Center is an established learning center located in 16th & Leslie in Richmond Hill since 2012 and currently looking for part-time tutors and STEM instructors.

We are offering academic tutoring programs for Grade 1 to Grade 12 English, Math, French and Science/Chemistry/Biology/Physics. The classes can be Group, Semi-Private and Private.

We also offer STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) programs, including LEGO robotics and Scratch/Python programming.

The learning center runs after school hours in weekdays (4:00pm-8:30pm) and weekends (9:00am-5:30pm). Our employees enjoy flexible working hours based on availability and competitive hourly salary.


[Job Qualifications]:


  • We need tutor who is passionate to teach elementary, secondary and/or high school students
  • We need STEM instructor who is familiar with LEGO robotics (such WeDo 2.0 and Spike Prime) or Scratch/Python Programming
  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred
  • Fluent English and good communication skills
  • Available after school hours (4:00pm8:30pm) for weekdays and/or weekends (9:00am5:30pm)
  • Comfortable to teach in person class at our Richmond Hill location

Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
$18.00-$25.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

  • Richmond Hill, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
