  • Territory Sales Manager – Golf (Kelowna)

    adidas – Kelwona, BC



    PURPOSE

    This position is responsible for the sales and service management for a portfolio of wholesale Golf customers within a designated region to deliver profitable and sustainable growth. This role supports the Western Territory and is based out of home office (Kelowna, BC)

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Full ownership and accountability for the account planning, management and in-field activation, to drive the annual booking and sales targets defined for the territory.
  • Ensure order writing deadlines are achieved, and constantly proactively manage the open order book for account base
  • Manage all sales and product in adherence with trade investment programs.
  • Ensure key product and brand stories are activated at retail to win the consumer
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and consumers, delivering high service levels
  • Execute product knowledge training sessions and educational training seminars for account base
  • Attend all sales meetings, trade and consumer events as required
  • Drive ongoing communication from the marketplace to Sales Leadership
  • Submit periodic territory sales forecasts as required
  • Accountable for all sales related budgets (T&E, seeding, allowances)
  • KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent verbal presentation and written communication skills with strong command of the English language
  • Direct sales experience and a proven track record for delivering results.
  • Ability to establish productive relationships with diverse account base.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities while working autonomously.
  • Very strong work ethic
  • Working knowledge of the golf industry and understanding key players within the market
  • Proficiency in software applications such as MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Virtual Sales tools.
  • Ability to travel on a regional basis.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Territory sales experience, preferably within the golf industry
  • College or University graduate in related field preferred
