Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team.
As a Facility Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and performing scheduled repairs, modifications and maintenance tasks for all production machinery and equipment.
Perform building maintenance and or provide support to outside contractors for electrical, HVAC, Plumbing as well as address any physical issues with the building (roof, doors, lighting, minor electrical and front office repairs.) This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently as well as a team member.
To ensure success as a maintenance technician, you should have mechanical/ electrical knowledge of industrial machinery, excellent troubleshooting skills and good time-management skills.
- Perform all preventive maintenance on production and distribution equipment including but not limited to: Presses, CNC equipment, Polishing equipment, Vibratory Finishing equipment, Shot blast, Paint Booth and lift trucks
- Perform emergency repairs on production equipment as required during breakdown
- Provide support for set up of production equipment when necessary
- Routine maintenance tasks, including HVAC system inspections, filter changes, and equipment lubrication
- Basic welding experience
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting fixtures, and outlets
- Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems, identify issues, and perform necessary repairs
- Respond to/perform regular facilitiesrelated service requests in a timely manner
- Fabricate and install various components as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned
Experience:
- Requires a minimum of 5 years experience as a maintenance technician in a production environment
- Technical skills including knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus
- Industrial Millwright Certification preferred
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Team player who is able to prioritize and multi task workload
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal as well as strong numeracy skills
- Must have good time management skills and be efficient in a fast pace environment
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Pay:
$30.57-$31.97 per hour
