Description

ELH Mechanical is seeking licensed and apprentice 308A Sheet Metal Workers for Commercial & Industrial sheet metal work. Applicants must be comfortable with new installations, retrofits, modifications and repairs on all sizing of ducting systems. This position is full time with a minimum 40-hour work week. Pay structure and starting wages will be based on experience levels.

Tasks:

Measure and mark sheet metal according to template.
Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces.
Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification.
Cut materials using power and or hand tools .
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
Fit and join sheet metal parts.
Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.

Experience and/or Qualifications:

308A Certificate (Required).
Driver's License (Preferred).
Working at Heights Certificate (Preferred).
SIN Card (Required).
Knowledge of ducting fabrications methods (Preferred).
Reliable.
Ability to work in a team.
Ability to read and construct ducting systems according to blueprints/drawings.
Knowledge and adherence to Health and Safety rules and mandates.
