Job description
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Generation of monthly financial statements and other financial reports as directed by management.
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and posting of journal entries
- Work with AR/AP clerk with monitoring accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash flow.
- Maintain general ledgers
- Monitoring and reconciliation of the inventory subledger & recording of inventory adjustments.
- Preparation of biweekly payroll for a small business through a payroll service provider.
- Preparation and filing of WSIB, and other annual reporting requirements.
- Comply with local, provincial and federal government reposting and tax filings.
- Preparation and filing of monthly HST returns
Skills & Qualifications:
- A college diploma or university degree related to bookkeeping or accounting.
- 35 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Sage 300 (ACCPAC) or other ERP
- Understanding of relevant employment and labor legislation, payroll administration, and HR processes
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong initiative, organizational and communication skills, and attention to detail

Salary:
$24.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
