TForce Logistics requires an experienced
Operations Lead to be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of the shipping logistics while maintaining the maximum amount of profitability.


In the performance of these tasks, the
Operations Lead will ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering on service agreements.

This position is based in Prince George


Job Duties:


  • Lead and direct the team of Drivers to meet or exceed KPI targets within the Region.
  • Responsible to meet or exceed budgetary targets, for Branch 662 and 65
  • Identify cost savings and process improvements.
  • Solve problems by considering courses of action within the framework of Supervisor goals and standards.
  • Through strong leadership, ensure all Drivers know and adhere to company policy/regulations.
  • Oversee operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments.
  • Provide support to Operation Managers across British Columbia.
  • Handle customer situations that require increased attention.
  • Manage issues and trends in an ongoing manner to facilitate efficiencies, including effectiveness of processes and procedures.
  • Ensure Safety is always the first priority and consideration in all our operations by ensuring compliance with company safety policies.

Job Requirements:


  • Post
- secondary education in Supply Chain Management, related field or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Five years of transportation experience including staff supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Solid leadership skills and committed to quality for our customers.
  • Able to excel in a fastpaced environment.
  • Prior experience in the trucking/courier industry, including operations management will be considered an asset.
  • Possess high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Prior experience dealing with Unions.
