Description
Administrators ensure the smooth running of an office by being the first point of contact for general telephone inquiries.Additionally, they are responsible for typing important documents such as meeting minutes or official letters, and organizing paperwork in a filing system so it can be easily located.
In a large or busy office, an Administrator oversees the work carried out by Office Assistants and other Administrative Support Staff.
Responsibilities:
- Financial management;
- Oversight of the facility quality assurance process;
- Develops and implements facility management systems;
- Administration, management, supervision and coordination of all departments to ensure quality care;
- Establishes and maintains good working relationships with agencies for the recruitment of new referrals sources;
- Establishes and oversee administrative procedures to meet objectives set by senior management;
- Ensures program and staff compliance with agency policies and procedures;
- Prepares, interpret and present reports regarding program operations, evaluation of service and utilization of resources;
- Promotes the philosophy of the organization, ensuring proper implementation of accepted clinical practices;
- Keeps uptodate on information and technology affecting functional area(s) to increase program effectiveness and ensure compliance;
Other important skills for an Administrator include:
- Accurate handwriting and word processing abilities
- Capacity to work as part of a team of office employees in a busy environment
- Ability to meet deadlines while ensuring high standards of accuracy
- Ability to follow instructions provided by Managers or other senior members of staff
- Willingness to assist Administrative Assistants to resolve problems and learn how to follow company procedures

Salary:
$31,473.80-$64,376.70 per year
Schedule:

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Winnipeg, MB R3Y 1S6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Administrative experience (preferred)
