Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Industrial Cleaner. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks in industrial settings.

Your primary objective will be to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards throughout the facility, ensuring a healthy and conducive working environment.

This position plays a vital role in upholding our commitment to excellence in cleaning services.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine and specialized cleaning tasks as assigned, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and washing surfaces, equipment, and machinery
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene by disinfecting and sanitizing areas, including restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, and hightouch surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques
Collect and dispose of waste and recyclable materials in designated areas, adhering to established procedures and environmental guidelines
Maintain clean and safe floors by removing debris, spills, and stains promptly. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure optimal floor condition and prevent slip hazards
Clean and maintain industrial equipment, tools, and machinery, following proper cleaning procedures and guidelines provided by the manufacturer or supervisor
Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals and solvents, following proper dilution ratios, storage protocols, and safety guidelines
Adhere to safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others
Perform regular inspections to assess the cleanliness and hygiene standards, reporting any deficiencies or issues to the supervisor for timely resolution
Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, supplies used, and any incidents or observations related to facility cleanliness
Collaborate with fellow cleaners and other staff members to ensure coordinated and efficient cleaning operations. Communicate any concerns or suggestions for improving cleaning processes or safety protocols

Qualifications:

Proven experience in industrial or commercial cleaning is an asset
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products commonly used in industrial or commercial settings
Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in an industrial environment
Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Strong time management and organizational skills to complete tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
Ability to follow instructions and work independently with mínimal supervision, as well as in a team environment
Effective communication skills to interact with team members, supervisors, and clients professionally
