Retail Division - Meat Department/Clerk

Duties:_

Courteous and polite customer service, following through on all customer service requests and giving each customer undivided attention
Abide by the strictest food safety standards
Stocking and maintaining displays, keeping all signage and pricing current
Preparation and cleanup of butcher areas
Sign for incoming raw materials and stock coolers accordingly
Practice safe use of all tools and equipment used in the production of all meat products
Trim meats, cut meats, debone meats, produce sausages, package & wrap products for retail, and wholesale and perform all other activities as needed

Skills & Abilities:_

Must be Punctual and Reliable
Must have a strong work ethic
Must have some knife skills
Must be selfmotivated and solutionoriented
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Able to meet physical job requirements
Experience preferred, but not mandatory
