We are looking for efficient, courteous
Cashiers with superb customer service and excellent work ethics to join our Petro Canada team, Hwy 28 next to Casino Dene.

Retail experience is an asset. Duties include processing sales transactions, cleaning and stocking the interior/exterior of the store.

As a Cashier, you should have a strong work ethic and high level of accuracy. You should be responsible, attentive to customer needs, and committed to providing excellent service.


Cashier Responsibilities:

• Welcoming customers, responding to questions or concerns
• Operating scanners, scales, cash registers, and other electronics.
• Balancing cash register and generating reports for sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving receipts.
• Following store procedures concerning Petro Points, coupons, gift cards, lottery, cigarettes and fuel (including Alberta Indian Tax Exemption)
• Verifying age of customers when selling lottery tickets and tobacco products.
• Maintaining clean workstation including cleaning/sanitizing the public restrooms, windows, countertops, and sweeping/mopping floors.
• Stocking/restocking shelves and coolers, dusting & facing
• Completing incident reporting when necessary
• Wearing proper P.P.E, uniform and name tag
• Performing other related duties and activities as required
• Completing necessary training in a timely manner

Cashier Requirements:

• Customer service or Cashier experience preferred, but training can be provided
• Friendly and positive, with strong customer service skills
• Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and work with other team members in a fastpaced environment to provide excellent service
• Reliable and punctual
• Capable of working flexible schedule (i.e. days, nights, weekends and holidays)

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 10-40 per week


Salary:
From $17.00 per hour


Day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Afternoon shift
• Day shift
• Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Cold Lake, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (preferred)
• Night Shift (preferred)
• Overnight Shift (preferred)
