As Assistant Director IT Solution Delivery - Digital Customer Experience & iA Private Wealth Management Advisor, you will:

Manage employees and contractors
Manage the workload of resources under your responsibility
Act as the tactical or operational IT respondent for the sector served in terms of the solutions and services offered by your team
Be accountable for the delivery of solutions and services, as well as the performance of your team
Act as an agent for the organization's IT assets.
Working closely with your manager and the management team, you will contribute to the achievement of the organization's results and objectives.

Summary of your main responsibilities

Manage the "human" aspect of resources (recruitment, integration, mobilization, motivation, retention, resolution of conflict situations, performance or behavior discrepancies, etc.).
Be accountable for the performance of your service unit, the quality of results and the satisfaction of partners, as well as the performance of your resources.
Support project leaders, Scrum Masters and managers in estimating the number of staff required to set up implementation teams
Be responsible for the training and career development plans of the resources under your responsibility
Manage technical or customer satisfaction escalations related to the teams under your responsibility
Manage and prioritize asset evolutions ("roadmap") under your responsibility or that of your unit in collaboration with portfolio management services.
As delegated by your manager, act as a firstline respondent for all IT services provided to the sectors you serve.
Work closely with IT team and partner managers, always ensuring that customer expectations are met.
Support your superior in managing the cost center budget, and ensure the availability of the financial, material and human resources required to fulfill your mandate
Take ownership of the sector's mission, vision and strategic plan, inform the resources under your responsibility and ensure they understand it
Participate in defining annual orientations and objectives, and set objectives specific to your unit
Intervene on behalf of the team with other sectors of the company in problem situations.

Leadership profile:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any other relevant field at the same level.
Minimum 8 years' relevant experience, combining management and IT experience, particularly in agile development projects.
Autonomy, initiative, leadership, managerial courage and good communication skills.
Strong ability to organize and prioritize work while working on multiple and often changing priorities with precise deadlines.
Developed teamwork, collaboration and interpersonal and professional relationship skills to build, maintain and deepen a network of contacts.
Ability to influence, persuade and negotiate
Ability to anticipate difficulties and issues, and to develop and implement innovative solutions in line with objectives.
Demonstrate vision and the ability to intervene at a strategic level when required
Able to act as a "coach" for certain colleagues.
Excellent English and French language skills, both oral and written, due to frequent interactions with English and Frenchspeaking partners across Canada.
Experience and knowledge of the financial, wealth management, banking and insurance sectors, an asset.
