Position Details:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary Range:
Starting salary at $52,700, based on a 35-hour work week. Salary for this position will be commensurate with each individual's education and/or experience as it relates to the position.

Location:
Hybrid within Alberta with preference to be located in Edmonton.

What You Will Do


This position will perform a wide variety of administrative and project management activities, including, but not limited to, project tracking, assistance with contract development and accounting support.

This position will also handle general office administration, human resources support and systems administration.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the analysis of revenue and expenditures, project monitoring and funding arrangements, as well as analyzing for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist with gathering projections and budget information from program leads.
  • Perform yearend procedures and providing support with yearend external/internal audit.
  • Handle administrative and operational requests, including tracking deadlines, identifying appropriate processes for completing requests and project invoicing.
  • Coordinates annual team retreat, other meetings and workshops, including, but not limited to, organizing meetings and booking catering/facility rentals.
  • Provides support and guidance to staff within areas of timesheets, expenses and onboarding for new staff.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative and basic accounting experience.
  • Certificate/diploma in office administration, business administration or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience in related fields will be considered in lieu of minimum education requirements.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Works effectively and independently under pressure and meeting deadlines
