We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee and manage the maintenance and performance of our J52 engines.

As a Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, reliability, and safety of the J52 engines within our fleet.

Your expertise in engine maintenance, data analysis, and team leadership will be crucial in ensuring optimal engine performance and minimizing downtime.

This is a critical role that requires a strong technical background, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies and schedules for the J52 engines in our fleet.
  • Oversee all aspects of engine maintenance, including scheduled inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications.
  • Develop the Fleet Growth of Engines in collaboration with the production team.
  • Responsible for the growth plan of the J52 engine within Top Aces and the budget associated to it.
  • Monitor and analyze engine performance data, identifying trends and taking proactive measures to optimize engine efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement improvements to enhance engine performance and extend service life.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, airworthiness directives, and customer requirements.
  • Manage engine maintenance budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying costsaving opportunities.
  • Supervise a team of engine MROs, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate with external maintenance providers and suppliers to ensure timely and costeffective maintenance and repair services.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and records related to engine maintenance activities.
  • Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Stay uptodate with industry advancements and technological developments in engine maintenance and management.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven experience in engine maintenance, preferably with the J52 engine or similar turbine engines.
  • Indepth knowledge of engine systems, components, and maintenance practices.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to analyze engine performance data and implement corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, airworthiness directives, and industry standards.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team of technicians effectively.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring safety and quality standards.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally, as required, to oversee engine maintenance activities at different locations.

Security Clearance Requirements/ CGP / ITAR:
Position requires the ability to obtain a positive security assessment with Controlled Goods Program
