    Job Purpose

    Lead a team of Project Managers and Sr. Project Managers. Coordinate customer implementations with OnX from contract phase through program delivery and billing of projects and programs with difficult complexity and scope. Utilize Project Management tools (project schedules, gap analysis, risk analysis, etc.), maintain customer and project team collaboration, manage customer expectations and status meetings, and identify project risks. Contribute to and/or lead OnX PMO initiatives to increase productivity, recognize hard and soft cost savings, and deliver increased customer satisfaction.

    Essential Functions

  • 30% - Coordinate with customers to manage the implementation of projects that have medium to difficult complexity. Construct and publish dedicated project schedules
  • 30% - Manage and coordinate project activities and lead project teams. Identify and publish gap and risk analysis
  • 20% - Construct and publish program reports for budget and capital expenditures
  • 10% - Conduct and lead project team meetings. Publish and maintain meeting logs and minutes to ensure team collaboration
  • 10% - Administrative duties as required. Other duties as dictated by business and management
  • Experience

  • 8+ years experience Telco - IT; supervisory or team leader experience
  • Experience managing technology projects, oversaw technical installations, and/or served in technical sales
  • Experience working with customer's technical, business, operational, and financial staff
  • Experience working with technical hardware and software vendors
  • Experience working with communication vendors
  • Experience with Client/Server applications, Networking Technologies, TCP/IP, Metaframe, Windows NT server, Storage Systems, Network Security Methodologies, and other related business technologies
  • 4+ years Project Management experience delivering technical solutions
  • Education

  • Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses

  • PMP certification preferred
  • Six Sigma training is preferred
  • Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to utilize Microsoft project and the entire Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to lead multiple diverse projects and programs (projects with many facets)
  • Customer-focused interpersonal skills, professional conduct, and communication skills to effectively gather information, ask questions to clarify technical requirements, discuss technical solutions with the customer, and discuss problems with internal personnel, external vendors, and clients
  • Knowledgeable within related technical disciplines including Business Continuance and IP Telephony
  • Ability to establish customer-focused program delivery expectations
  • Familiar with OnX tools - PM methodologies
  • Supervisory Responsibilities
