    JOB SUMMARY

    The Registered Kineisiologist, under the direction of the Director or Manager of Rehabilitation/Clinical Supervisor, is responsible for completion of professional activities that include: assessment, treatment, education, and management of clients requiring therapeutic intervention, in accordance with professional standards

    Job Qualification

    Qualifications - External


    • Registered Kinesiologist in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario

    • Experience in assessment and treatment of clients with various injuries and conditions, including physical, functional, psycho-emotional and cognitive impairments

    • Experience in ergonomics, job coaching, job demands analyses, return to work planning, FAE training and disability management

    • Experience working in auto insurance, WSIB and with Employers an asset

    • Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills

    • Strong and effective written, oral, and nonverbal communication skills

    • At least two COVID-19 vaccines

    Clinical Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the assessment of clients, establishment and ongoing evaluation of treatment programs including job coaching, goal setting, work hardening and return to work programs.

    • Responsible for completing ergonomic assessments and job demands analyses as requested.

    • Maintains accurate clinical records according to standards set by College of Kineisiologists of Ontario. Documents assessment results, goals, treatment, client progress and discharge plans.

    • Collaborates with other members of the health team as needed.

    • Communicates pertinent information and recommendations to clients/care providers and provides education regarding treatment strategies as needed.

    Other Responsibilities

    • Remain in good standing with College of Kinesiologists of Ontario.

    • Participate in ongoing internal and/or external education activities

    • Adhere to Bayshore Therapy & Rehab Policies and Procedures

    • Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System

    • Participate in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns.

    • Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel

    • Complete other tasks as requested
