Description

Our client is looking for a contract based Azure Architect with expertise to lead cloud infrastructure design and deploymetn initiatives. A strong background in cloud computing and a proven track record of architecting and deploying scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure is deal.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, high availability infrastructure solutions in Azure utilizing IaaS and PaaS.
• Lead cloud architecture decisions, including the integration of on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-based systems.
• Architect solutions that ensure secure data transactions and services, adhering to compliance and security standards.
• Collaborate with IT security to implement and maintain cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, data protection, and threat mitigation.
• Develop automation scripts and frameworks to automate deployment and operations tasks.
• Monitor performance and advise on necessary infrastructure changes.
• Prepare technical documentation and architecture diagrams for designed solutions.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for IT staff and other stakeholders to boost cloud adoption and understanding.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, specifically with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including Azure VMs, App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Experience in migrating on-premises infrastructure to Azure.
• Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, and Terraform.
• Professional certification in Azure Architecture (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
