*Architectural Drafter (Manufacturing)

New Tecumseth, Ontario

70-75K salary with benefits and room for advancement

*Responsibilities*· Analyze construction documentation and drawings.

• Use Computer Aided Design and Drafting systems to prepare drawings.
• Design components and select appropriate hardware to withstand loads.
• Support production throughout the shop assembly process with clarification and required changes to projects.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings
• Create visual guidelines for construction and installation purposes.
• Draft technical details.
• Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures.

*Qualifications*· Post Secondary Diploma in Architectural Technology

• Expertise in reading and interpreting construction documents including architectural, structural, mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Experience in manufacturing environment and preparation of shop and fabrication drawings
• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office
