- Identify new opportunities, accounts, and verticals within the region
- Lead clients through the full sales lifecycle: prospecting → proposal → close → project completion
- Conduct on-site sidewalk assessments and field prospecting as part of consultative selling
- Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth handoff and successful project execution
- Maintain disciplined CRM and reporting practices to track pipeline, activity, and outcomes
- Use data and insights to continuously improve territory performance
- Contribute ideas to improve systems, processes, and go-to-market strategy

- Professional business development experience: ideally in municipal, infrastructure, construction, engineering, or property management environments

Founded in Alberta in 2012, we've grown into acoast-to-coast organization, serving clients from British Columbia to Nova Scotia. We are entrepreneurial by nature, operationally disciplined, and mission-driven: making communities safer, one sidewalk at a time.
We are hiring an experienced, entrepreneurialBusiness Development Managertoown, grow, and leadour British Columbia market.
The Role
This is not a transactional sales role. This is aregional ownership rolefor someone who has built something before; markets, territories, teams, or businesses and wants real responsibility and influence.
As Business Development Manager, you will be accountable for growing revenue, deepening client relationships, and expanding Safesidewalks Canada's footprint across British Columbia. You'll work closely with the Regional Manager, Director of Business Development and Director of Operations to execute strategy while owning day-to-day business development in the field.
You will be trusted to think like an owner, act like a partner, and build your territory.
