The Government Relations Manager is responsible for advancing strategic relationships with municipal provincial and federal governments This role leads strategic government engagement advocacy efforts advances public policy initiatives positions YW as a trusted voice on issues that impact women their families The Manager also plays a critical role in securing capital operational funding from government sources ensuring alignment between YWs priorities broader public policy objectivesResponsibilities
- Develop implement government relationship management plans across municipal provincial federal governments
- Maintain strengthen relationships elected officials senior civil servants sector partners
- Serve primary point contact government officials public policy stakeholders
- Support efforts secure capital operational funding establishing mutually beneficial objectives between YW all levels of government
