The Best Western Plus Winnipeg West is looking for a Hotel Housekeeping Attendant to join our team

Must have your own transportation:

- there are no bus routes to the property.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

The cleaning of guest rooms and public spaces: dusting, making beds, changing bedding, removing garbage from rooms, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning, replenish rooms with supplies.
Occasional Laundry duties/assistance.
Providing our guests with an efficient and comfortable experience.
Ensuring good communication within the housekeeping department and other departments of the hotel.
Ensuring maintenance deficiencies are promptly reported and recorded.
Maintaining our guest confidentiality.
Other tasks as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.

Qualifications:

English language skills including verbal, reading and written.
Good personal grooming and professional presentation.
Ability to provide superior customer service.
Must be willing to work flexible hours and weekends.
Able to work a physically demanding position that requires frequent lifting, pushing and pulling of greater than 10 kgs and capable of performing repetitive tasks.
In good physically condition
Must be able to work with mínimal supervision & as a team player.
