The Best Western Plus Winnipeg West is looking for a Hotel Housekeeping Attendant to join our team


Must have your own transportation:

- there are no bus routes to the property.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The cleaning of guest rooms and public spaces: dusting, making beds, changing bedding, removing garbage from rooms, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning, replenish rooms with supplies.
  • Occasional Laundry duties/assistance.
  • Providing our guests with an efficient and comfortable experience.
  • Ensuring good communication within the housekeeping department and other departments of the hotel.
  • Ensuring maintenance deficiencies are promptly reported and recorded.
  • Maintaining our guest confidentiality.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.

Qualifications:


  • English language skills including verbal, reading and written.
  • Good personal grooming and professional presentation.
  • Ability to provide superior customer service.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours and weekends.
  • Able to work a physically demanding position that requires frequent lifting, pushing and pulling of greater than 10 kgs and capable of performing repetitive tasks.
  • In good physically condition
  • Must be able to work with mínimal supervision & as a team player.

Wage:
Based on experience.

From $13.50 per hour
