This position is part of the Rotary and Mission Systems business area where employees across Canada support engineering systems integration training sustainment and in-service support programs for Canadian and international military customers across land air and sea.Responsibilities
- Install and secure all Command & Surveillance Systems cable terminations to the specified connectors plugs or inline fitting as per program(s) scope of supply
- Cable stripping connector crimping soldering heat-shrink assembly Single and Multimode splicing Connectorization certification required Terminate Test contacts into connectors as per written instructions industry standards Impedance Voltage Standing Wave Ratio measurement Fiber termination High-frequency Electromagnetic Interference shielding grounding techniques Use meters multi-meter clamp-meter Radio Frequency microwave measurements testing Firmware loading debuggers Oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers logic analyzers Polarity Electromagnetic Compatibility EMI EMC Immunity Test Report ITR testing Integration consoles Personal Computer PC-based standalone Review Interface Control Documents ICDs
