Duties and Responsibilities

· Read and interpret construction drawings

· Use survey instruments to establish correct line and grade

· Identify any conflicts and report to site supervisor

· Work with engineers and surveyors to solve problems

· Achieve correct grade by directing operators of equipment to adjust grade by moving earth, gravel, and other materials

· Measure distances from reference points or offsets to accurately install utilities

Requirements:

· Experience as a Grade Person considered an asset

· Valid drivers license and own mode of transportation

· Ability to work outdoors in various types of weather conditions (cold, rain, heat, etc,)

· Ability to walk long distances
